What happens when we graduate? A whole collaboration of thoughts rush
through our minds. First, we reflect. Reflect on where we've been, what
experiences we've had that have shaped us into who we are. School,
family, friends, and our church have aided in this reflection. From
camp, choir, missions, and weekly Bible study, we can reflect on the
wisdom attained and the growth em-braced. Next, the present, the
present is a sort of limbo that again makes us think of what brought us
to today. Also, the plans for our future have defined us for today.
What we wish to become and experience has helped define our present.
Lastly--the area in which most seniors live (especially in the month of
May and the rest of the summer)--the future. The future for our
graduates gives us dreams and takes us to the clouds. Oh, what things
may come! With this chicken salad assortment of thoughts and dreams, we
know and will be constantly reminded that God is in it all. This leads
me to the last thing for our graduates to know:
I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out--
plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.
Jeremiah 29:11
Thanks for helping shape my present and future!
Peace,
