General Assistance
There
are many behind the scenes opportunities for service. The list includes
publicity, promotion, decoration, mail-outs, phone calls, E-mail, cooks
and van drivers. Many volunteers will bring their area of expertise
into view to help in presently undiscovered ministries.
Sunday School Leaders
Sunday
School meets on Sunday mornings from 9:00 - 10:15 at First Baptist
Church. Sunday School is a time of Bible Study for our students by
grade/gender. Our student ministry is staffed with a wonderful group of
adult leaders. Positions include department director, and boys/girls
teachers. Training is available in the fall.
Discipleship Training Leaders
DT
meets on Sunday nights from 5:00-6:00 at First Baptist Church. It is
designed to encourage students to go deeper in their walk with Jesus
Christ so that they become fully devoted followers of Him. DT is
staffed by grade/gender.
Chaperones
This ministry is
always in need of chaperones for special events. These events include
youth camp, retreats,mission trips, miscellaneous out-of-town trips and
other in-town events.
Snack Supper Volunteers
Families are invited to help provide a light supper for our students on Sunday evenings after choir and before DT.
Volunteer Homes
Many of our summer activities are hosted in homes.
